Omikoshi

Another photo from Japan, another experiment with popular editing style. I dunno about this photo, I'll probably throw it out later. This is a tradition in my home town (Odate city, Akita, Japan). I love Matsuri, it's my favorite thing ever. Pretty much the people get on top of the mikoshi, and then we throw water on them. And they throw mochi at us. It's fun.

I wish that woman's head wasn't there... Also I can't help but think how much better this photos would have been with my 50mm....
